Ballinaclash is a small pick-your-own orchard, vineyard and cellar door, owned and run by Peter & Cath Mullany and their six children. It is situated near Young, in the Hilltops cool-climate region of New South Wales. Tread Softly are a naturally lighter in alcohol wine brand that is ‘Sustainable Wine Growing’ certified and sustainably focused. The brand delivers a range of wines that are naturally medium weighted and consist of naturally lighter in ABV, mid and 0%. Since 2019, the brand has planted a tree for every case sold in efforts to reduce their carbon footprint and to date, has planted 1.9 million trees in the ‘Tread Softly Forest’ (and counting)….

Rosé is an all occasion wine full of freshness, brightness, crispness, and lightness. Proper rosé is made from the gentle and short extraction of juice from red grape varieties to obtain only the lightest tinges of pinks from the grape skins. After this extraction, rosé is largely made in the same way as white wine. Many, even most, red grape varieties or blends thereof are suitable for making rosé. Different varieties give different flavours and colours and there is an official colour coding that refers to the flesh of fruits including: cantelope, peach, red currant, ruby grapefruit, mango and mandarin.
