Waymaker represents a proud history and future intention of going one's own way. Inspired by Stonyfell Founder Henry Clark, who first dreamt of making wine amongst his olive trees many years ago. The Bulloak range draws its name from the majestic stand of Bulloak (Buloke) trees located at our Zilzie property, providing a scenic backdrop to our vineyards and winery. This act safeguards not only the Bulloak trees but also the region’s rich natural diversity, ensuring a legacy for generations to come. This Chardonnay from the picturesque Adelaide Hills is a pale gold with green hues and has notes of citrus and toasty oak on the nose. On the palate there are flavours of fresh citrus and white stone fruit, offering great length and depth through tight acidity and a creamy texture.
