A classic Australian wine, Wynns Black Label Shiraz was previously known as Wynns Black Label Hermitage. Typically showing superb fruit density, with ample red forest berry fruit and spice and supple tannins, Black Label Shiraz typifies Coonawarras mid-weight elegant style.

Malt, toffee and caramel characters lead, with lovely clean spirit lifting up florals and hints of rancio and raisin. The palate is elegant, fresh and smooth with spicy complex toffee and fish oil. A round and rich mid palate is made tight with clear fine spirit, and creamy intense malt notes stretch for a long, clean finish. Pair with dry coconut ice cream, dark chocolate ganache and baked apple or bitey cheddar with figs, dates and prunes.

The Cigar the name coined by Coonawarra Vignerons to describe the unique cigar-shaped strip of rich red terra rossa soil. This wine is from the famous strip, the bouquet shows bright cherry, chocolate and musk fruit aromas supported by savoury cedar oak. The palate is vibrant with blueberries and rhubarb balanced by choc-mint with the tannins having mouth-filling praline texture. The finish is long and lingering.

The Balnaves Coonawarra Vineyard was established in 1975 and is situated at the southern end of the Coonawarra Terra Rossa strip. The Balnaves family arrived in the region in 1855 from Paisley, Scotland and opened their first general store in Penola in 1858.Balnaves have used Cabernet Sauvignon grapes to make this modern Sparkling red. This wine is a blend of complex and elegant parcels from ten vintages of reserve wines, matured in a solera system.Rich and complex with cassis, blackberry and violet, combined with mature Coonawarra Cabernet characters of chocolate, leather and truffle.
