Riposte Epee Pinot Noir
2023 PINOT NOIR THE WINE Seductive black cherry overlaid with exotic spices lead to a palate of supple fresh berries, bright acidity and lingering fine grained tannin. The very essence of youthful, vibrant Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir from carefully selected vineyards. VITICULTURE With enough sunny days to develop ripe, intense flavours 2023 was a cool and late vintage. The 2023 Epee Pinot Noir is made up of four clones - MV6,777,114 and 115 from vineyards at Gumeracha and Lobethal. More clones equals more complexity. WINEMAKING Harvested in the cool of night and early morning, pristine destemmed fruit is tipped directly into fermenters without crushing to give a high percentage of whole berries. The fermenters are gently pumped over twice a day to keep the skins wet and promote gentle tannin extraction. After pressing the wine is kept in stainless steel tanks prior to blending to preserve freshness and vibrancy.

With his rich history in wine and estate sourced Adelaide Hill fruit, Jacks attitude towards winemaking intends to push the boundaries. Making seriously good wine that shouldn’t be taken too seriously.
Mt Bera Vineyards Adelaide Hills AMPHITHEATRE Zweigelt
Mt Beras Amphitheatre vineyard is planted on 2 slopes of a massive natural amphitheatre between our other vineyards. One bird can create music to be heard everywhere. Hopefully the grapes collect the music, and you find yourself singing along with our native bird population. Mulberries, coriander, orange peel and nutmeg on the nose, as well as some licorice. Its medium bodied, bright and cool, with fine grained tannins and an elegant, subtly spicy finish. Drink or hold. James Suckling.
Mt Bera Vineyards AMPHITHEATRE Blaufränkisch

Rich black fruit is contrasted by peppery flavors and boisterous acidity in this food-friendly Austrian red. Blaufränkisch, also known as Lemberger in Germany, is celebrated for its versatility and its ability to pair with a wide range of dishes. This grape variety is also a parent of Zweigelt.
Nova Vita Wines Firebird Shiraz
This is a classic cool-climate medium bodied Australian Shiraz made from our best close planted Shiraz block with approx 4,444 vines per hectare compared to the usual Australian 1,850 vine per hectare all with of focus on high quality low yielding vines allowing the fruit characters to come to the fore. Hand-picked, small batch fermentation and maturation in French oak barrels for approx. 20 months has produced a wine with spice and ripe fruit, white pepper, cloves, cedar, orange peel, blackberry and a combination of strongly savoury and sweeter berried flavours developing into an extremelly interesting wine.
XO Wine Co Pinot Noir
This Kuitpo Pinot Noir is a blend from two vineyards in Kuitpo, Christmas Hill and Topnote. The blocks integrate seamlessly to produce a wine portraying the gradually shortening days, the subtle look of Autumn and the gently rolling sandy loam landscape draped in morning fog in which it's grow. Partial carbonic maceration adds a floral lift to the wine with subtle earthiness and fresh strawberry notes while a portion of whole bunch gives structure and spice while maintaining the vibrancy and varietal character of Pinot Noir.

Situated in the Adelaide Hills, the altitude and cool conditions of Nepenthe's vineyards are ideal for growing the Pinot Noir grape. And it seems that the rest of the country is starting to cotton on to the fact that this region is producing some of the most exciting examples currently available. Full of ripe cherry and raspberry flavours with a complementing acid structure and soft tannin backbone make this Pinot ideal for food pairing on a wide scale.

Intense berry and red cherry aromas vibrant lend themselves to the palate of dark berry and cherry with subtle hints of dry herbs and silky soft graceful tannins.
Paracombe Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir
Alluring aromas of wild strawberry, cherry, toffee and leafy notes. Medium bodied and lingering flavours of cherry and plum superbly integrated with fine tannins and spice on the finish. Will accompany many styles of fine food and game dishes also well suited to cheese.
