Domaine du Tariquet 1994 BA 45.5% 700ml Grape Variety: 60% Ugni-blanc 40% Baco Tasting Notes: Vintage blonde colour, slightly tiled. The nose is ripe, well vanilla, some aromas of hazelnut then a very pleasant sensation of sweetness. The aromatic palette turns out to be noble, very “cigar box” and cashew nuts on the glass bottom. The palate is suave, powerful, thick with a feeling of opulence, bringing in the finish more orange freshness.

This 18 year old release has been created using a handpicked selection of first fill and refill ex-bourbon American white oak casks and then finished in responsibly sourced 100% Scottish oak casks. As our new make spirit evolves in this unique cask duo, it creates balance and brings a beautiful richness and depth to our tropical distillery house character. COLOUR: Golden amber.TASTE: Sugared almonds, baking spices, passion fruit and guava tropical fruits.FINISH: Exotic syruped fruits, patisserie sugars, brioche and spices with soft hints of berry fruits flow through to cacao and natural vanilla finish.

Aged, as Albert Tesseron puts it, “for one generation” (meaning 25-plus years) the Extra Légende was created from a blend of Tesseron Grande Champagne reserve wines. Its deep complexity was built around the inclusion of around 50 eaux-de-vie (including a number made from the Folle Blanche variety, a rarity in Cognac today) and its maturation in cellars of different humidity levels.

Tasting Notes: Nose: Touch of Almond, Bourbon Vanilla, Honey, White Pepper, and Jasmin. Palate: Powerful attack with volume and a lot of intensity. Finish: Soft and persistent ending. Notes of Licorice, Nuts and subtle notes of cloves.
