Domaine Asmara Cabernet Sauvignon is loaded with delicious ripe dark fruits aromas, great tannins structure with mouth watering dark fruits mixed with distinctive black currents flavours and oak. A great cellaring candidate for the right cellar conditions

Soft, rich, mouth coating, balanced tannin, hints of classic Cabernet and authentically Heathcote. There is a renaissance to charcoal cooking and woodfired oven cuisine. Whether it be a chargrilled sirloin, gorgeous green prawns over seriously hot charcoal or a simple woodfired margherita pizza, we are always looking for wines to match.

The fruit was sourced from the warmer foothill regions of Heathcote. The wine was left on skins for up to 7 weeks then pressed and put to seasoned barrels for 6 months Medium red in colour with hints of tobacco leaf and prunes.The palate is rich and textural with firm tannins.

This Tempranillo was matured in selected oak for 12 months to produce exceptional quality. The wine displays concentrate fruity aromas and flavours of cherry and with hints of chocolate which is enhanced as the wine is allowed to breathe; complimenting a rich lasting finish.

This close-planted Mourvèdre vineyard (4545 vines per Hectare) on rich pre-Cambrian soil produced fruit of amazing complexity and length of flavour. Bright and light raspberry red in colour, the perfumed nose of ripe berry fruits, raspberries and layered with dried herbs, amaro and warm spice of garam masala. Savoury turned earth, spice, lifted whole bunch (50%) and a meaty small goods character. Medium bodied, lighter on its feet than most Mourvèdres. This wine is all about texture and fine velvet like fine tannins; palate is long, rolling and fresh.

In the glass this wine is a deep magenta colour with crimson/purple edges. The nose exudes vibrant aromas of violets, spice and ripe berry flavours. The palate has intense dark berries and clove spice. It is a medium bodied wine with good length.

Whitebox Shiraz has aromas of dark fruit, spice and leather that leads into a palate of blackberries and cedar. The fruit sweetness is balanced by firm acid and fine tannins. A great example of Heathcote Shiraz from a favourite of Dan Murphy's customers over the years.
