Oliver's Taranga have a long and distinguished history in the McLaren Vale and are custodians of some of the premier vineyard land in the region. Corrina Wright is now the winemaking brain behind this progressive winery and her Shiraz is a modern masterstroke. Smoke and bacon on the nose with sweet and savoury tones. Soft fruit flavours luscious mouth feel and great length to this wine. Delicious.

Lloyd Reserve Shiraz is produced from a single vineyard at Coriole, planted in 1919 by Geoffrey Kay. It was first retained as a separate wine in 1989, and is one of Langton's Classified Wines of Australia. This vineyard typically produces a wine of great intensity and can be cellared for many years. The wine is matured in French oak with typically about 40% new.

Grenache has always been a cornerstone of d'Arenberg's red wines and this is one of the benchmarks of the variety. Produced from old low yielding vines it is a wine of great character and intensity. Showing none of the sickly confectionery characters that can plague this variety, it's all about elegant, savoury spice.

Chapel Hill are in the fortunate position to be the custodians of some of the most unique vineyard sites in McLaren Vale; showcased by The Gorge vineyard planted in 1993. With the gently undulating soils, which are derived from prized ancient rock formations, are further enhanced by the elevation as the site perfectly capitalises on the beneficial coastal influence. Always limited in number, theýGorge Block (formerly TheýChosen) Cabernet Sauvignon proudly showcases the sites wonderful ability to build a complex and concentrated red that will comfortably live in your cellar for the next 10 years if you can resist the alluring primary fruits on display today

Medium-bodied with seductive flavours of blueberries, cherries and dark plums. The French oak maturation provides subtle savoury, spice characters with a pleasing soft and silky texture to the mid palate. A long, persistent finish makes this a great wine for Spanish or games dishes.

Chapel Hill makes great value wines in the maritime climate of McLaren Vale. This Shiraz is a beauty. Dark berries and vanillin oak are evident in the bouquet with spice coming through on the palate.
