The nose is reminiscent ofa fresh ferment and the taste of grapesfresh from the vine with scents ofstrawberry, lychee and rose petal. Thiswine is a very natural and cloudy exampleof pure Grenache from McLaren Vale. Thepalate is lively and the strawberry fruitcarries through as fruity, zesty and crisp.

Hither & Yon took out the Bushing King award at the 2019 McLaren Vale wine show. They are leaders in working with alternative varieties.Pale pink in the glass. Cherry, watermelon, cranberry and dried herb aromas. Juicy, fresh and vibrant with a bright core of red fruit flavour, mouth-watering acidity and a chalky, savoury finish. A cracking Rose' with excellent all-round appeal.

Dry Rosé that is beautifully pale pink in the glass, subtle and refreshing savoury notes up front which lead into cherries and strawberries on the nose and a palate balanced between fresh fruit and lingering acidity.

Fragrant lift of white cherries, quandong and candy canes. Dragonfruit and guava notes give way to a dreamy scene of relaxing on a pillow of rose petals and sneakily devouring a strawberry pie with lashings of fresh whipped cream. Energetic and vibrant on the finish leaving you with a renewed vitality.

Fleshier and more structured that its predecessor's vineyards, a violet/lavender centre to raspberries, sarsaparilla and creamy blueberry pie. Plush and opulent. Always smooth and creamy in its fruit expression the site really offers a unique balance of approachability and cellar-worthiness. The Blewitt Springs site has a brilliant aged profile that may be mistaken for aged grand-cru Burgundy when tasted blind.

The nose is complex with signs of barrel maturation without any obvious oak.PalateThere are ripe strawberry and raspberry flavours with the warmth of the dry grown Grenache showing long and fine tannins with a lingering finish. There is a savoury dry character that is not aggressive in any way with hints of spice. The wine lingers and has cleansing acidity. This wine reflects the terroir of the area and the characteristics of the Grenache variety.

Bekkers Syrah Grenache McLaren Vale The Syrah is sourced from red clay-loam over siltstone rock in Clarendon (which they now own) and Grenache from sand over orange sandy-clay in the much vaunted Blewitt Springs. Picked by hand, vinified with 15-30% whole bunches and cold soaked for 5-6 days before natural fermentation and basket pressed to aged French oak 500L puncheons. Deep inky purple with a nose of lavender, violets, blueberry, blackberry, Indian spices and a palate of leafy blackcurrant and a long, soft, silky texture.
