This exceptional Cote Rotie wine from Guigal is sourced from seven distinguished vineyard parcels through the Blonde and Côte Brune terroirs. The soils of the Côte Brune are dark iron rich schist and the Côte Blonde is pale granite and schist both on steep terraced vineyards. The wine is a blend of 95% Syrah and 5% Viognier co-fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. Following fermentation the wine is matured in new oak barrels for 38 months.
