Pressing Matters R139 Riesling is a delicious dessert wine showing a pale straw colour. The bouquet of this wine highlights the sweet aromas of Riesling that sweep across the dainty palate as well. Pear Eau de Vie, quince, ginger and citrus chutney flavours stream across the palate before being corralled into the long, clean and delicate finish. The wine is lovely with soft cheeses and fruit-based desserts.

The concept of blending Shiraz and Viognier was derived from the great French wine region of the Northern Rhône the Côte Rôtie area in particular. Using only the best Eden Valley fruit, this wine by Yalumba is rich in concentrated fruit flavour. Traditionally, the two different grape varieties for this wine have predominately been crushed and fermented together.

This classic Riesling has crisp and racy finish with a slight touch of sweetness to balance the natural acidity.

The lively palate shows lime, lemon and spice with hints of crushed apple. Mouth watering laser like acidity will ensure this wine will live for many years. Juice was cool fermented in stainless steel and the wine held on light lees until bottling in July 2018. Since their beginnings, well over a decade ago, their focus has always been to make hand worked Shiraz and Riesling wines that truly exhibit the character of the region as well as expressing Nick's unique personality and style. His wines have received high profile recognition at a national and international level including the prestigious Stodart Trophy in 2014 and the NSW Wine of the Year in both 2014 and 2015 the latter being the first and only time in the awards 20-year history that the accolade has been received multiple times by a single producer, let alone in consecutive years.

This fine elegant Riesling has aromas of lime juice and honey blossom while the palate offers excellent fruit weight with minerally flavours that linger on the finish. Drinking beautifully and sure to age well.
