Kings Mantle Shiraz is the crowning selection of the vintage. This parcel of wine hails from 25 year old vines in the northern Barossa in the Ebenezer Koonunga district. On the nose, we find a broad depth of dark and red fruits, concentrated plums and blackberry supported by a backbone of elegant oak with underlying nuances of cedar and spice. Fruit carries through on the palate with luscious berry fruits and graphite, with amazing structure from the red clay soil. Fine, velvety tannins carry through on the lengthy finish. Will benefit from decanting. Drinks well now, or will benefit from cellaring for a further 10 plus years.

Celebrate the Year of the Snake with an iconic Bin 389 Magnum presented in a Lunar New Year-inspired gift box. Bin 389 was often referred to as ‘Baby Grange’, in part because components of the wine are matured in the same barrels that held the previous vintage of Grange. First made in 1960 by the legendary Max Schubert, this was the wine that helped forge Penfolds reputation with red wine drinkers by combining the structure of Cabernet Sauvignon with the richness of Shiraz. Exemplifying the judicious balance of fruit and oak, Bin 389 highlights the generous mid-palate Penfolds is known for.

Sourced from ancient low-yielding vines and lovingly nurtured on our family estate, this wine is characterised by its intensely concentrated fruit and is a true expression of both the style and the Barossa.

A standout from the stellar 2018 vintage, this bold Barossa red is a masterclass in Australian winemaking. A powerful blend of 64% Shiraz and 36% Cabernet Sauvignon, it draws fruit from two iconic regions - 52% Barossa and 48% Coonawarra - delivering depth, character, and serious ageability. Aged for 17 months in French oak (76% new), this inky, full-bodied red is bursting with flavour. Expect rich notes of blackcurrants, cloves, soy, aniseed, graphite, dark chocolate, and coffee grinds, all seamlessly woven together. Crafted by winemaker Peter Munro and sealed under cork, this is a wine built for the long haul - balanced, powerful, and beautifully structured, with fine acidity and velvety tannins.
