Château de Bligny is a unique Champagne house in that it is the only house to have the 'Château' appellation attributed to it as a boutique style. Built in the heart of the Côte des Bars by the Marquis de Dampierre,Château de Bligny produces a Grande Réserve here of utmost elegance. A light straw colour with a fine persistent bead. The nose is lifted with a rich yeast autolysis character and hints of citrus and apple. The palate is full bodied, complex and rich with prominent lemon and lime flavours and a bready character that lingers. A sparkling Shiraz rosé which rested on lees for four years before disgorgement and with a minimal dosage of only one gram. It smells of strawberries and cherries but with an underlying sense of savoury dried herbs. In the mouth it is both ripe and textural with the merest hint of tannin.

This light pink hued Pink Heath Sparkling Pinot Noir is lined with an apricot blush along the edges. The fragrant bouquet flaunts intense strawberry and rose aromas which intermix with juicy red currant flavours on the rich and sweet palate. This wonderful Pinot Noir ends in a lingering finale.

The Chardonnay grapes used to create Vintage Blanc de Blancs were picked, pressed and then fermented to retain intense fruit flavours. The resulting wine shows a bright straw colour with light green highlights and a beautiful bead. The fragrant bouquet is perfumed with lovely aromas of cream and peaches, with light suggestions of citrus and honeysuckle. The elegant palate is filled with peachy flavours and zesty lemon acidity, offering a silky mouthfeel and a clean finish. This lighter bodied Blanc de Blancs tastes excellent with sashimi, sushi, and foie gras terrine.
