This Blanc is a crisp straw colour, offering a romantic glow through it when held up to the sunshine or a dinner-time candle. Fragrant and energetic, the nose has an abundance of lycee, kiwifruit and blackcurrant with lime curd and lemon sherbet. Thai basil, sliced fennel, ginger and citrus blossom sit neatly in the background. A gentle entry leads to a delicately textured mid palate. Evans & Tate Semillon Sauvignon Blanc, clear pale lemon-green in colour with aroma of fresh cut grass, passion fruit with a hint of elderflower on the nose. Dry medium body and intensity of crisp green apple and ripe stone fruits with hints of green pepper on the palate. Great acidity structure with a medium to long finish. True to the classic.
