Flavour: it retains all the fresh fruitiness of its aromas, with a juicy acidity that is a constant companion from start to finish. A light body and long finish. The first whiff of this restrained Sauvignon Blanc indicates a departure from the hugely aromatic styles of Marlborough. It has a delicate floral nose with an inkling of Indian spice while the fruit is more stone-fruit than tropical. The palate is elegant, texturally soft with a mouthfeel of freshness and breadth. The Montgravet brand is a tribute to the special terroirs from which our winemakers have sourced this top-quality wine. Mainly situated on south exposed gentle slopes, called Mont, they benefit from the warm sun, while the mists from the sea bring cooler winds. These specific vines were planted on clay soils mostly made of pebbles, called Gravet and their roots go deep into the ground to find water, enhancing the elegance of the wine.

The MadFish range by traditional Margaret River producer, Howard Park, is one of great value and regionality. This Semillon Sauvignon Blanc blend is a Western Australian staple with gooseberry flavours along with real citrus zest lift and a cleansing back palate. But it is the complexity in this wine that is truly remarkable and something that isn't often seen in this blend.
