When a young Alfredo emigrated from Spain in 1940, he had a clear vision of his family’s new life in Australia. Today, his legacy sees the Nugan family established as one of Australia’s most successful agricultural enterprises. This wine is a tribute to his vision and the passion he instilled in his family. Sourced from the Frasca’s Lane Vineyard in Victoria’s cool climate King Valley. Ripe aromas of cherry with hints of mocha, dark chocolate and earth followed by a savoury palate of spicy plum and raspberry with well-integrated tannins.

The luxurious nose of this red wine offers delicately spiced plum and cherry characters enhanced by pleasing savoury notes and traces of chocolate. A sip of the wine reveals the medium bodied and flavoursome palate brimming with plum and cherry flavours. Combined with soft tannins, the generous palate culminates in a lengthy finish.

Fred Pizzini grew up in Italy and is bringing the taste of his homeland to the Australian dining table. His Sangiovese is one of the best examples in the country, with spicy, savoury fruit hiding a vein of mouth watering acid that is a hallmark of the variety. Allora Rosso is an Italian style blend made from Canaiolo, Sangiovese and a splash of Shiraz. Violets, cherries, plums, licorice and spice with a hint of chocolate on the finish. This is a perfect midweek wine, versatile enough to be enjoyed with pizza, osso bucco or even a spicy tomato pasta.

Dal Zotto Sangiovese is mid garnet with a purple hue; the savoury bouquet is immediately reminiscent of Tuscany with briary red fruits, sour cherry in particular, sage and thyme and a little earthy complexity adding interest; the palate is medium-bodied and fleshy on entry, with the crunchy tannin and acid of the variety providing an engaging and savoury platform to conclude; will handle a huge array of flavours, from light to full blooded.

Named after Alfred Pizzini's grandmother, this is a medium bodied Sangiovese - warm and humble just like its namesake. Aromas of lightly spiced plums and cherries lead to hints of chocolate, leather and lovely savoury characters. The palate is generous and full flavoured with good length, soft tannins and flavours of plums and cherries.
