The Burge family are Barossa royalty with a history that dates back to 1885 when Grant Burge's Great Great Grandfather, John Burge, immigrated to Australia. A complex display of plum, red currant, raspberry, and sweet vanilla characters upfront; delicate rose petals, sweet Brazil nut, and cinnamon oak spice add an extra depth of complexity. Light to medium-bodied with elegant red-berried fruits, cherry, and sweet plum flavors fill the palate, followed by a succulent, firm yet elegant tannin structure. Sweet toasty spice and delicate fruit persist with a hint of mocha on the finish.
