Delicious, lip-smacking red is named for the many birds that can be heard at Corioles beautiful vineyards in McLaren Vale. Redstone Cabernet's varietal leafiness is a welcome foil to the ripe Cabernet berry flavours. Typical regional earthiness and some hidden liquorice complete the picture. A great buy.

Lifted fragrances of fresh grass and citrus are given off by the lovely bouquet of this elegant Sauv Blanc. The crisp and refreshing palate is balanced by mouth-watering acidity.

This wine is dark purple with intense aromas of violets, blackberries, plums and clove spice. Drinking well now, but with the potential to be a long term cellaring prospect if desired. Lightly fined and racked before bottling without filtration, it is normal for some sediment to form. Decanting one hour before drinking is recommended. Bleasdale is not only one of the oldest wineries in the Langhorne Creek region, but one of the oldest in Australia. Frank Potts, who founded Bleasdale in 1850, has a fascinating history. Born with sea legs, he joined the British Royal Navy at 9 years old and served on Lord Nelsons famous ship HMS Victory. He sailed around the world before landing in South Australia in 1836. He planted the first vines in 1858 and sold fruit to Thomas Hardy. He then expanded the vineyards in the 1860s. He was an innovator and a pioneer who played his role in establishing Australias wine industry. The Potts family still own Bleasdale and descendants Michael and Ben Potts handle the winemaking duties, along with Paul Hotker. They make wines from fruit grown on their 61 hectares of vineyards from varietals like Verdelho, Shiraz and Malbec in sparkling, table and fortified styles. Each parcel of fruit is carefully selected to produce a range of wines that can be enjoyed immediately, or cellared for that special occasion.

Another excellent Cabernet from one of the modern day pioneers of organic farming in McLaren Vale, and it's even better if it's decanted before serving.Deep purple. Dark fruits, confectionary and exotic spices. Generous with intense varietal flavours of blackberry, blackcurrant, cassis and mulberry , hints of bay leaf and cedar adding complexity. Youthful with fine tannins and fresh acidity.

A combination of fermentation styles and French and American oak, highlight the regional characteristics. The wine has lifted aromas of spice, dark cherries, and plums, with a rich, full-flavoured palate of forest fruits and vanilla, finishing with soft tannins and excellent length. Langhorne Creek is situated on the Fleurieu Peninsula of South Australia and is home to some of the world's oldest grape vines. Shiraz is one of the hallmark varietals of Langhorne Creek, producing big, full bodied red wines. This Shiraz from Oak Lane is a great example of the premium wines which come from this region.

Temple Bruer continues to be one of the standout Organic producers in Australia with flavoursome and richly textured wines. This Cabernet Merlot has the great bonus of being Preservative Free for those with sensitivies to Sulpher Dioxide.

Ben Riggs has hand-crafted a delicious Shiraz Cabernet Merlot blend here that pays homage to the three-spiked prickle that can be found in the McLaren Vale region and the fact that it's hard to ignore. This unctuous red blend is also extremely hard to ignore with its seamless varietal integration that produces a wine full of richness and opulence. Ripe, dark berry fruits courtesy of Merlot along with spice elements from the Shiraz and a firm, but balanced structure from the Cabernet all come together superbly.

Marking Time Shiraz is the product of patience, care and the excellent growing conditions of the Langhorne Creek wine region of South Australia, which is famous for blends of this style. An exuberant wine that's full of flavour.
