Cappellano Otin Fiorin Pie Rupestris-Nebioli
CAPPELLANO Otin Fiorin Pie Rupestris-Nebioli, Barolo DOCG
Luciano Sandrone Barolo Aleste
In the glass, the color is beautiful and brilliant garnet red. The fragrance, rich and complex, begins with floral notes - iris, aromatic herbs and dried hay -, then raspberry and wild strawberry, finally the ethereal spice notes of cinnamon and green peppercorns as well as tobacco. The flavor is rich and decisive, enveloping and warm, with notes that recall the aromas of spices and jams, herbs and tobacco. It is a dense, structured and long-lived wine, yet one of elegant character: the acidity and tannin give balance to the wine and the finish is velvety. Barolo DOCG. 100% Nebbiolo. Spontaneous fermentation from indigenous yeasts. Maceration and alcoholic fermentation in open steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation and ageing in French Oak tonneaux of 500 liters. Aged in bottle for 18 months before release. Vineyard in the village of Barolo: Cannubi Boschis
Luciano Sandrone Barolo Le Vigne
The Sandrone Barolo Le Vigne 2014 surprises with its intense garnet color, alive and beautiful. As it ages, it will slowly fade in intensity and gain subtle orange-brick hues. The scent, broad and persistent, first shows fruit notes of wild strawberry and raspberry, then floral notes including wild flowers and dried roses. The spice aromas of cinnamon and star anise emerge at the finish. With time we expect secondary and tertiary aromas and flavors to evolve, such as elegant vanilla notes and then dried mushrooms, leather, goudron and, perhaps, truffles. The flavor is rich and intense, with youthful expressiveness in the tannin and acidity. Time will bring greater harmony, resulting in a more complex and balanced wine. 100% Nebbiolo. Spontaneous fermentation from indigenous yeasts. Maceration and fermentation in open steel tanks. Malolactioc fermentation and ageing in French oak barrels of 500 liters. Aged in bottle for 18 months before release. Vineyards in the villages of: Serralunga d'Alba: Baudana Castiglione Falletto: Villero Barolo: Vignane Novello: Merli

Vietti Barbaresco Roncaglie
Product Description: An historic cru redefined with precision and finesse. Vietti’s Barbaresco Roncaglie 2021 marks a new era for this site, drawn from sandy hillside vineyards in Treiso that favour fragrance and elegance over power. First bottled in 1967 and once known as Roncaglie Masseria, the wine has since been fine-tuned with longer maceration, extended ageing and a considered later release, ensuring it reaches the market with greater balance and composure. In 2021 the wine shows remarkable clarity of fruit and structure. Fermented in open-top stainless steel with daily délestage and aged for two and a half years in large oak, barrique and steel, it reveals the house’s deft hand at expressing Nebbiolo. The result is a Barbaresco of concentration and grace, layering perfumed florals, taut tannins and fresh red fruits in a style that underscores why Vietti remains one of Piedmont’s most respected names. Elvio Cogno Vigna Elena Riserva, Barolo Ravera
Elvio Cogno Vigna Elena Riserva Barolo The first vineyard planted by Cogno, on lighter sandier soils within Ravera. It is named after maker Valter Fissores daughter. Today it is a cult wine, prized among regional aficionados for alluring floral aromas, an intensity of flavour and a lattice of bracing tannins juxtaposed against a chiaroscuro of supple herbal notes, a winning finesse and a lightish hue. This is because Riserva Elena is crafted with the rare Nebbiolo sub-variety Rosé, one of but three permitted in the region. This strongly supports the oft-referenced affinity between Nebbiolo and Pinot Noir; great Barolo and Burgundy. 'the estate of Elvio Cogno has unequivocally thrust itself into the pantheon of top Barolo makers.'Ned Goodwin MW Shop Elvio Cogno
