Moss Brothers Fidium Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon

Synonymous with high quality wine in Western Australia’s leading region since the 1980s, Moss Brothers are a brilliant producer of leading Cabernet. ‘Fidium’ from the Latin word meaning ‘attuned’, a word which perfectly defines the Fidium Margaret River Cabernet. Being attuned with the vineyard – its cycles, its idiosyncrasies, its aspect and of course its full terroir profile. Enjoy lifted aromatics of forest fruits, plum, mint, dark chocolate and tobacco. On the palate, blackberry and mint, some savoury dry herb notes and layers of mocha and spice from oak maturation. The structure is medium to full bodied with fine tannins and great length. An elegant style with great varietal and regional character.

Deep Woods Estate Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

Langton's Classification: Excellent

Deep Woods most vaunted red earned its place in the Langtons Classification in 2018 (7th Edition) after displaying consistent quality and demand for the required minimum ten vintages. It is one of those wines at the tip of the Margaret River spear - demonstrating the brilliance that continues to come from that corner of Cabernet Country. ...imbued with power and elegance, pure fruit definition, fine-grained tannins and integrated savoury oak. Classification VII (2018) Deep Woods Estates sustainable and minimal-intervention farming and new trellising systems to optimise exposure have brought the vineyard into the big time. Arlewood Estate La Bratta Rosso

The La Bratta Rosso displays lifted black cherry, blackcurrant and red licorice with spicy undertones. A complex, savoury and rich style that is medium to full bodied with a very ripe and fine tannin structure. Flavours of black cherry and underlying dark cocoa are pronounced. A long, persistent and intriguing wine that is drinking beautifully now but will reward patience.

Dormilona Clayface Cabernet Sauvignon

Elegant and fragrant, this wine is all about vibrancy and fruit purity. Blackcurrant and herbal notes, bay leaf, violet florals and red-fruited freshness. It's layered and complex with a lovely mineral note running through, and oh-so-pure. Delightful drinking. Dry grown from our single vineyard organic plot in Yallingup. Hand harvest, foot & hand stomped into the terracotta pots. Hand plunged daily during wild fermentation then left on skins for six months with native malo. Basket pressed on a cold wintery day back to the amphora for maturation for three months. Hand bottled direct from the pots, sealed under cork with a wax top. No fining, no adds, no filtration, no pumping, no gas, only good old candle power & knuckle grease. Plus very minimal sulphur at the bottling process - this is to ensure no bottle variation & to eliminate any oxygen pick up.

Cullen Cabernet Merlot

Cullen, world famous for their Diana Madeline Cabernet Merlot, have introduced another Cab Merlot, a distinguished offshoot of the Langton's classified Diana Madeline. Majority Cabernet Sauvignon blended with Merlot and touch of Petit Verdot gives the wine a luscious, bright cherry flavour with red berries playing their part. Aged in French oak, 40% of which was new, for one year. Delicious to serve with veal, lamb or beef today, but will also reward up to 10 years in the cellar.

Hay Shed Hill Block 2 Cabernet Sauvignon

The Hay Shed Hill Block 2 Cabernet Sauvignon displays ripe berry aromas of brilliant intensity with underlying earthen nature along with typical characters well noted from Margaret River. There is a depth here that is hard to fault, in fact its downright breathtaking. The palate itself is quite substantial, even by Western Australian standards; displaying fully ripe, fleshy sweet fruit filling the mid palate with great palate extension driven by the ripe and mature tannin.

Flametree SRS Cabernet Sauvignon

S.R.S. stands for Sub Regional Series. Carefully selected individual grape varieties that excel within a certain sub-region. These wines represent the very best varietal wines under the Flametree label and will only be made in the best vintages, volumes will be small and availability very limited. Exceptional in quality, complexity and finesse. It shows all the perfume and structure that make Wilyabrup Cabernet Sauvignon wines so famous. Lifted blackberries, mulberry, plums, earth and dark chocolate dominate the nose and palate at this early stage. Whilst showing plenty of inky dark fruits, violets and bitter chocolate. The palate also displays wonderful fruit and oak tannin, the result of 16 months oak maturation.

Woodlands Margaret Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot

Langton's Classification: Outstanding

Woodlands were one of the 'first wave' of wineries to set up in the Margaret River in the early 1970s and today that heritage is in the capable hands of Andrew and Stuart Watson, sons of the pioneering David. The Margaret Cabernet Merlot displays aromas of rosemary, leather and spice winding through blackberry and blackcurrant fruit. The palate is a reflection of the nose, and is bolstered by eucalypt, bay leaf and cranberry flavours.
