Deep Woods Hillside Chardonnay exhibits lifted nectarine and white blossom characters. A suggestion of cedar like oak frames the generous stone fruit characters and complex chipped shell minerality. The palate is clean and lively with tremendous depth of ripe stone-fruit flavour nuanced by cashew notes. Bright citrusy acidity ensures and long and seamless finish providing enhanced structure and length.

This Blanc is a crisp straw colour, offering a romantic glow through it when held up to the sunshine or a dinner-time candle. The blend is made with majority Sauvignon Blanc grapes plus a handful of Chenin Blanc. The result is a classic dry white, with enough sweetness to give your taste buds something to dance around. The fruit comes from our Quindalup vineyard and is simply made in a stainless steel tank for freshness.

Fragrant and energetic, the nose has an abundance of lycee, kiwifruit and blackcurrant with lime curd and lemon sherbet. Thai basil, sliced fennel, ginger and citrus blossom sit neatly in the background. A gentle entry leads to a delicately textured mid palate. Bursting lemon, lime and grapefruit dominate throughout with bright acidity, a slightly savoury line and a talc-like finish.

A proven medal and trophy winning wine, the Vasse Felix Filius Chardonnay has delicious stone fruit and purity of acid and minerality. Has wonderful line and length that will accompany light seafood dishes wonderfully.

Rich aromas with bright fruit characters of pear, gooseberry and lime. There is the typical varietal characters of lanolin along with fennel, subtle quince and creamy lees. Rich with a soft creamy texture and balanced acidity. The palate is loaded with fresh fruit characters of gooseberry, pear, passionfruit and honeysuckle along with lanolin. A fresh and fruit driven Chenin Blanc that has great drinkability. Match with Sushi, grilled chicken, seafood, roast pork and goats cheese. Margaret River winemaker and vigneron Kevin McKay spent the first 15 years of his career developing his family’s Abbey Vale property.
