The bouquet for this Paringa Estate Pinot Gris has lifted varietal fragrance of fresh cut pear with hints of lychee and mandarin. The palate has fresh pear and citrus fruit flavours combined with lovely mid palate texture and balance, finishing with cleansing acidity.

Sourced from a single vineyard site in the Strathbogie Ranges, ideally suited to growing aromatic and balanced Pinot Gris. The cool nights here allow the fruit to reach optimum ripeness whilst retaining an elegant balance between flavour, alcohol and acidity. This wine by Pacha Mama underwent lees stirring while in barrel, resulting in a buttery richness and complexity that sets the pinot gris style apart from the tighter, more acidic Pinot Grigio. Weemala is an Aboriginal word for 'good view' which is what you get when you go this vineyard this Pinot Gris has produced a lovely mandarin and pear nose with flavours of quince and lime.

Beurrot by Kooyong is comprised of two Pinot Gris parcels: the tiny original 0.24 hectare section annexing the Meres block, and the all-Pinot Gris Beurrot vineyard, which at 2.74 hectares, provides the majority of the fruit. The Beurrot vineyard is planted to a density of 5600 vines per hectare. The grapes are gently whole-bunch pressed directly into all-used French oak barriques, where fermentation takes place without inoculation. After fermentation the wine is aged on lees (without battonage) for 10 months. It is bottled without fining and with minimal filtration.

Hand picked Pinot Blianco fruit by Girlan, grown on the mineral rich hillsides of Cornaiano, at altitudes ranging from 450 to 500 metres above sea level. The juice is tank fermented, with 10% going through malo to add some flesh to the wines crisp Alpine bones. Lower than average yields have resulted in a racy, pulpy, kaffir-lime, apple, and spice scented wine with lovely, pithy minerality and a zesty bite on the finish.

Hailing from Merricks North, Quealy Tussie Mussie Pinot Gris is a generous wine with a luscious stone fruit palate; honey, heavy bottomed pears, and creamy. Six months on lees assist generous mouth feel and palate weight. Balanced with natural acidity.
