Brewed by Britain's oldest Brewer, Spitfire Gold is a well-balanced golden ale. Its sweet malt base is complemented by subtle bitterness and tropical aromas imparted by some of the world's favourite hops, including challenger, centennial and saaz.

In the nose, hints of mocha and caramel and a yeasty herbalness (cloves, pepper) are rounded off with a slightly sour taste. You can taste biscuit, caramel and pear, beautifully balanced with a slightly roast bitterness and a touch of cloves. In the finish, the pearls flow away and culminate in a rounded dry taste.

La Trappe is the only Trappist beer located outside of Belgium and is only one of the seven still producing Trappist beers today. The Blond is a golden blond beer that combines the Trappist fermentation process to produce an aromatic, fruity and fresh aroma. The flavour may be described as light malty and slightly sweet. Birra Menabrea Lager is brewed using light barley malts and maize, for a light, crisp Lager style. A distinctive yeast strain, and a more significant amount of hops than is usual for a Lager beer add to its aromatic complexity. This, combined with a fairly high alcohol level, makes for a very full and flavourful, yet still refreshing Lager. Around 100 thousand hectolitres of beer are produced annually, part of which for export in twenty countries.
