This wine showcases a Bordeaux-style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Cabernet Sauvignon enhances the tannins, acidity, and depth of the wine; the addition of Merlot guides it to become more supple and medium-bodied. The Yarra Valley is Victoria's oldest winemaking region and one of the most picturesque. This region has rightly earned its renowned reputation for producing wines of finesse, flavour and distinction. Yarra View is a true representation of this. Hand harvested from vineyards in the Upper Yarra, this cool climate Syrah displays lifted aromas of cherry and Boysenberry with complex black tea-leaf and spice.

Innocent Bystander eminates from Victoria's Yarra Valley and is the brain child of owner, Phil Sexton. With winemaker Steve Flamsteed on board, the Innocent Bystander wines are fantastically varietal and extremely approachable. The Pinot Noir is packed full of black cherry and cedary notes with a perfect balance of soft, but fine grained tannin.

Coldstream Hills was established in 1985 by James and Suzanne Halliday and has always produced a benchmark cool-climate Pinot Noir. This beautifully textured wine boasts rich flavours of dark cherries, pepper and foresty notes, with a long and toasty finish.

A fruit driven style of Pinot with fragrant strawberry aromas and sweet berry flavours. Moderate acidity and feathery tannins frame an elegant palate of ripe cherry with a touch of earthiness.

Sourced from a number of Yarra Valley vineyards, fermented in small batches with different treatments (carbonic maceration, partial whole-bunch and whole berry fermentations utilising optical sorting). 67% of the fruit comes from the valley floor and 33% from the Upper Yarra. The final blend equates to 15% whole bunches and 6% new oak, with the residual balance matured in French oak puncheons and barriques from 2nd to 4th fill. The wine saw four months on lees in barrel prior to bottling.

The wine is tightly packed full of black fruit, spice, cloves, and liquorice. The grape tannins are soft and are beautifully integrated into the wine, giving the wine structure and adding power, balance and a savoury richness. Whilst enjoyable now, this wine will reward careful cellaring for up to 2 years.
