Unavale are a small boutique vineyard located on Flinders Island, Bass Strait. The whole grapegrowing and winemaking process happens right there and the small community becomes involved with picking grapes and bottling wine each vintage.

From the rolling hills of Tuscany, using grapes handpicked late in the season, Sangiovese 2017 presents you with fruity aromas and intense flavours of red berry fruit. Light in body and tart cherry on the palate with just a hint of strawberry. Perfect with pizza.

This Cabernet Merlot shows dark berry fruit aromas that flow onto the palate along with plum fruit flavours and soft lingering tannins.

One of our absolute favourites, our Cabernet Sauvignon is matured in oak casks for that light vanillin oak finish. Its a lively red with a smooth finish, presenting fine velvety tannins and an intense blackcurrant jam flavour on the palate. Despite its complexity it is a great easy-drinking red, but we recommend it paired with hearty, meaty dishes such as a lasagne, steak or a cheese platter.

Walker Grove Sauvignon Blanc is crisp, clean and fresh. The palate displays a mix of herbs and tropical flavours rounded by mouthwatering acidity that pairs excellently with light meals or snacks like salads and cheese.

Full-bodied dry red, deep crimson, almost opaque with purple highlights. Blueberry, blackcurrant, and boysenberry fruit aromas with vanilla and spice characters resulting from extended maturation in very tight-grained oak barrels. Lifted blackcurrant, raspberry, and black olives, with soft, fine tannins and ample sweet fruit flavours. A persistent finish with toasty, spicy oak spilling onto the palate.

Crafted utilising fully-ripe, intensely-flavoured and structured shiraz grapes, the result is a unique Australian style that is now recognised as one of the most consistent of the world’s great wines. With an unbroken line of vintages from the experimental 1951, Grange clearly demonstrates the synergy between shiraz and the soils and climates of South Australia. A fusion of preserved figs, black plum, blackberry and black liquorice flirts with an aromatic elution of fish oil, anchovy, soy and sesame/nori. Nascent scents of toasted charred meats (rotisserie rib of beef), rendered fat/marrow... An uplifting freshness and higher notes are liberated with air – awakened scents akin to cola, Chinotto, aniseed, root beer.Camouflaged (new!) oak has to be proactively sought out, verified.Strikes a Grange stylistic bullseye, all boxes ticked.
