Born-and-bred Hunter Valley specialist, Aaron Mercer spent years at Tamburlaine, and had stints at Tyrrell’s and Brokenwood, before setting up on his own. He’s also worked in California, France and Germany so brings a great deal of experience to his winemaking, with a a great small-batch range from premium Hunter Valley sites, Tumbarumba and Orange. This classy, gently oaked Hunter Chardonnay boasts fresh peach, vanilla, and pannacotta flavours and a nutty edge.

Hand-picked and gently pressed, this modern-style Chardonnay is rich yet refined. Ripe stone fruit, melon, and citrus unfold on a smooth, full-bodied palate, layered with hints of vanilla and biscuit from time on lees in French oak. A beautifully balanced wine with texture and freshness. Enjoy with creamy pasta, roast chicken, or triple-cream brie.

Audrey Wilkinson Semillon from the home of Semillon in Australia, the Hunter Valley is a lovely crisp Semillon with abundant citrus fruit flavours, limes, lemons and a hint of sherbet. Delicious.

The Audrey Wilkinson Chardonnay shows layered peach, melon and citrus fruit flavours on the palate, both plush and textured, waves of exotic fruit are framed by a fine line of acid.

Floral fruit in youth, moving towards biscuity characters with age. A generally softer bodied palate with smoother acids than the Vat 1 and Belford Semillons.

A different expression altogether sans the benefit of bottle age. Youthful. Zesty. Punchy. As filigreed of talcy acidity and fine boned as the rest of the crew, this is guava, lemon grass and sherbet, teeming along a line of candied citrus chew. Spectacular Chardonnay from the Hunter Valley. A medium bodied style Chardonnay, displays hints of green apple, guava and lemon, with balanced acidity and a long finish. Matured for 3 months on new and season French Oak.

The 2019 Silkman Estate Semillon is clean fresh and modern. The nose is full of lemon, pink grapefruit and fresh cut hay. The palate reflects the nose with citrus and a touch of salinity. This wine will age well and pairs perfectly with a roast chicken.
