Swinney Farvie Frankland River Grenache The fruit from the bush vine Grenache and Mourvèdre is hand-harvested. The berries15% whole bunch Grenache and 5% Mourvèdreare sorted and gravity-fed to a French oak vat. The fruit is co-fermented wild giving the resulting wine a firm but fine framework around which it builds textural profile. After a week and a half on skins, the wine is basket pressed directly into ?ne grained large format seasoned French oak to age for almost a year. Seppeltsfield Great Terraced Vineyard Grenache From the storied Seppeltsfield, a crown jewel of the Barossa, comes the Great Terraced Vineyard Grenache. The 2020 vintage is a special release to mark 170 years of the estate, established in 1851. It is a drinkable tribute to the estates icon vineyard, first planted in 1855. It is a celebratory and distinguished bottling that captures the confluence of tradition and a new chapter. A single vineyard Grenache, the Great Terraced Vineyard consists of bush vine Grenache grown in soils famously rich in ironstone, quartz and slate. This iron-oomph and bracing minerality carries through to a powerful palate in a medium-bodied Barossan that is astonishingly concentrated. Raise a glass to 170 years!

Château La Nerthe is in contention for being one of the oldest estates in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The estate was first purchased by the Tulle de Villefranche family in 1560. The historic Château was built in 1736. Château La Nerthe deserves credit for being one of the first estates to bottle their own wine. This took place to some extent starting in 1784. Château La Nerthe is one of the first, if not the first estate in Châteauneuf-du-Pape to export their wine outside of France. Another first that belongs to the estate is that Château La Nerthe began the practice of destemming 100% of their vines in the 1800’s. By this point in time, Château La Nerthe was the most expensive wine from the Southern Rhône.
