Ten Minutes By Tractor was the result of a the coming together of a series of journeys that began about 30 years ago. Centred around 3 vineyards that are approximately 10 minutes by tractor apart, the winery is now synonymous with terroir driven wines perfectly suited to Mornington Peninsula. Their estate Chardonnay is a wonderful modern interpretation of the variety with layers of complexity and fruit weight balanced by the ever present acid line that runs through the core of this fantastic wine.

Notes of dark cherry, violets and spice dominate the nose. Palate: The palate is full and structured, yet elegant with flavors of luscious dark cherry balanced with a fine mineral acidity. This wine matches beautifully with red meat dishes, including venison and lamb. Drink now or cellar 3-5 years. This wine is suitable for vegetarians and gluten free diets.

The 2017 Chardonnay fruit was handpicked in pristine condition. Lifted bouquet of nectarines and stone fruits with an underlay of toasty spice. Barrel ferment characters add complexity while flavours of citrus and cashew swirl around the palate to give a long flavoursome finish.

Zingy grapefruit, blackcurrant leaf flavours and a gentle softness that acts as a ruse to its long finish. Rated by our tasting panel as a must try example of this variety. Amongst the sea of quality Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc that is flooding Australia, Seresin Sauvignon Blanc stands out as having that something extra: perhaps it is the wild yeast ferment; perhaps the partial barrel ferment; or perhaps it is the 5 per cent of Semillon in the blend. Whatever the secret, this wine has body and finesse that raises it above its Marlborough peers.

This wine shows an array of fruit characters, ranging from citrus through to tropical notes. This is complemented by some secondary characters from the natural yeast ferments and also some barrel aging. The palate has an elegant structure with a creamy, textural mid-palate and a long finish.
