Carvacelos is a style of Portugese fortified wine dating back to the 18th Century. These rare port barrels were filled with single malt distilled in 2007 and left for over two years to impart the full range of flavour and character on the whiskey. A 12 Year Old Single Malt aged in bourbon casks for 12 years giving the whiskey a honied sweetness, rich vanilla, oak spices and a herbal undertone. The taste offers citrus hints of lemon, dried orange and a touch of honeysuckle.
