Made using the Petillant Naturel method aka Pet Nat, this wine is a rock star in and out of the bottle. Made from a blend of the energetic chardonnay from the famous Saltwater River vineyard and pinot noir rose. It sees a small amount of new oak for added texture. This is some seriously good pet nat, living up to Tasmania's reputation as the home of Australian fizz.

Harvested from 2 blocks close to the original homestead of the estate ... this Cabernet Sauvignon shows all the qualities of a cool climate wine from a mature vineyard. Aged in French oak. Flavours of black currant, cigar leaf, plum, black cherry and green pepper perfectly accompany food with intense flavours like grilled meat or strong cheese.

The cool slopes of the Tamar Valley region, located in northern Tasmania, have the potential to produce great sparkling wine. This richly flavoured cuvée made from Chardonnay and Pinot noir by Pirie boasts complexity from barrel-aged base wine and reserve blending. It displays the impact of terroir and the favourable interaction of climate and soil on these vines.

Bannockburn is spicy with well intergraded savoury oak and great acidity backbone. The varietal flavours such as, raspberries, strawberries and red cherries fruits lingers with a faint hint of forest floor on the palate with well supporting tannins. Tasmania is very well suited to growing and producing Pinot Noir with its cool-climate and excellent terroir. Temperate days and cool nights at Derwent Estate have produced a silky Pinot Noir that oozes class. A delicate mix of sweet and savoury fruits with a long lasting finish.

This wine, Freycinet's junior Pinot Noir, reveals liveliness and youthfulness in its colour, aroma and flavours. Similar winemaking techniques are utilized as for their renowned Freycinet Pinot Noir. Fully ripened fruit from their Louis vineyard site is fermented over a 7 to 8 day period in a rotary fermenter. A pure yeast culture is added and the ferment temperature is allowed to peak at 32 degrees. After gently extracting colour, flavour and tannins from the skins the wine is pressed and matured in French oak barriques (8% new) for 12 months prior to bottling.
