Established in 1893, Leasingham was a founding winery of the Clare Valley, crafting wine for nearly 120 years. Today, they select only the most outstanding wines for release under the premium Classic Clare label. Consistent show success rewards the depth and integrity of these distinctly regional wines.

Henschke Julius is a classic expression of Eden Valley Riesling. An almost perfect vintage has provided the citrus blossom and lime aromas and an intense minerally structure which will develop for a decade at least.

Mount Majura Riesling shows lime and lemon characters, a delicate and delicious dry Riesling.

Bin 51 is a pure expression of Eden Valley Riesling — elegant, refined and world-class. From the region’s high-altitude, cool-climate vineyards comes a wine brimming with floral and citrus aromas, lifted by a mineral edge and natural acidity. Perfectly cellared to show at its best, it’s fresh, textured and drinking beautifully right now while retaining all the finesse Penfolds Riesling is famed for.

This cuvée is a blend of fruit from high altitude Estate vineyards - including the brilliantly named Sandgrub vineyard - dotted around the village. There's a good dollop of Wasseros too, a fine vineyard which wraps around the Gräfenberg Grosse Lage. We've had some great bottles of this wine over the years, but few with the kind of horsepower on offer here. Racy and cool, with citrus and ripe stone fruit, yet balanced by fabulous, mouth-watering acidity; this is the sort of wine that will make Riesling lovers shudder with pleasure. Robert Weil doesn't make 'entry level' wines, as this clearly shows.

Classical perfumed Spatlese with generous apricot, honey, violet, superb concentration, fruit sweetness and lemony acidity. Sealed with glass stopper for guaranteed freshness.

This beautifully mature 2017, has a Top Gold, 7 Golds and 96pts from Halliday. "Peter Lehmann's Margaret Semillon provides complex drinking and a length of flavour that many producers aspire to. It's a regional classic, and rightly so", as Dave Brooks writes in The Halliday Wine Companion, "All lemon butter spread on freshly toasted brioche with hints of soft spice, marzipan, wildflowers, crushed stone and drying fields. Dry, savoury, long and compelling. Some crustaceans and some of this and you are in a very good place. 96pts. Great Value.”
