Made by Corrina Wright, a sixth generation member of the Oliver family, this is McLaren Vale Shiraz to the extreme. There's bold chocolate and blackberry flavours, a hint of pepper and smokey overtones. The alcohol sits at the higher end of the spectrum and there's plenty of vanilla oak, but the fruit intensity pulls it all together to produce a superbly balanced wine.

This class cabernet has deep red colour with purple hues indicating the freshness and quality to come. Aromas of leafy mint with complex capsicum and cedar with ripe berry notes adding complexity with firm tannins and well balanced acid leading to a long finish.

He took the name from one of the original vineyards, which runs next to the small Bethany Church (Est 1854) across the road from Wirra Wirras century old ironstone cellars. The wine is a blend of 50% cabernet with 37% shiraz and 13% merlot delivering vibrant colour then true cabernet blackberry and cassis aromas and dominant flavour as well, while the rest of the varietal makeup adds a sweeter fruit-cored palate, full with bright red energy and comforting, easy drinking textures. A Shiraz for the big boys, fresh red currants and blueberries leap from the glass and are interwoven with violets and spice. The palate is rich in juicy raspberries; blueberries and spice fill the mouth and are supported by bright acid and silky tannins. The finish is fleshy, juicy and plush with wonderful medium bodied balance and style.

Paxton NOW Shiraz is a vibrant purple coloured wine with red hues. Its bouquet is an explosion of aromas coming from mulberries, strawberries, raspberries and plums, with hints of sandalwood and lavender. The palate of this medium-bodied, drink "NOW" style of wine showcases bright and fresh red berry fruits followed by silky tannins and a velvety finish. This food-friendly red is a great match to red meat dishes and sharp cheeses.

Deep ruby red with a lovely youthful violet hue. A fragrant nose of fresh blueberries, a little vanillin, mixed spice, cedar and a floral hint of perfumed violets. Pressed to tank to complete malo then spent 18 Months in French oak barriques. 25% new. Balance seasoned to allow the fruit to still be the primary character in the wine.Fruit was machine harvested over 2 nights in late March. De-stemmed only then allowed to run a cool maceration for 13 days to capture the lifted aromatics.
