Bakery Hill Peated Malt Strength

In fact it is one of the biggest Australian whiskies available today. The malted barley is “peated” in northern Scotland and exhibits a more “Highland” style peat, which produces an “earthier” rounded peat smoke with minimal “medicinal/iodine” notes. If you are looking for the ultimate flavour experience that you will continue tasting long after the glass is dry, this whisky is for you Tasting Notes: Nose: A rich subdued peat aroma combined with a natural leathery earthiness with overtones of kumquat and fruit mince tart. Sweet but not sickly. Palate: The palate reveals a tobacco leaf earthiness with layer upon layer of complex smoky peat that lingers on the lips and palette demanding just one more sip. Finish: Astonishingly long and complex, an exotic mix of experiences.
Pōkeno Virgin Oak Whisky
Pōkeno Virgin Oak Cask 46% 700ml is a New Zealand whisky with a complex and intriguing nose. An initial burst of oak-y aromas is complemented by gentle notes of ripe fruits, hints of vanilla and a subtle earthy smokiness. Its deep golden hue is inviting, and the palate is full-bodied and creamy with a delicious balance of sweetness, spice and woody notes.
