Chateau Du Moulin A Vent, Couvent des Thorins

Domaine Chevillon-Chezeaux Coteaux Bourguignons

Gamy from Burgundy. Not many Burgundy producers are growing red grapes that arent Pinot Noir. Its attractive ruby complexion draws the eye in and its summer cherry front notes appeal the palate. Very fine, silty tannins and moderate-to-high acidity create a definite structure not typically seen in entry level wine and will certainly look good with a few months in the cellar. Great food wine, recommend pairing with roast chicken, olives, pork sausages and hard sharper cheeses.

Domaine Anita Moulin à Vent Très Vieille Vigne

Très Vielle Vigne translates to “ancient vines”- in the case of this wine, we’re talking 80 years old. Sitting on a steep southeast-facing slope with the trademark granitic soils of Beaujolais, these vines deliver on concentration and structure. The aspect is perfect for gentle morning ripening, and the granite lends energy to the wine. This wine is the pride of the Domaine, with deep and dark flavours and unending complexity to discover. Despite the usual thought that Beajoulais can’t age, this wine still has years of delight under the cork- particularly from the 2020 vintage. This is modern Beajoulais at its best.

Sentio Gamay

King Valley Gamay that sings with purity, zip and sheer light red drinking enjoyment.

Dominique Piron La Chanaise Morgon

Dominique Piron is one of the benchmark producers in Beaujolais, producing balanced and thoughtful wines. The wine offers abundant fruit but also strucutre, resulting in a very rewarding Bojo.

Domaine De Colonat Les Charmes Morgon

Dark, complex and vibrant! This is a cracking example of Morgon Beaujolais, just the second time that a Beaujolais has been included in Decanter's 'Best in Show' selection. This is a complete world-beater of "astonishing charm". A complex array of black, red and purple fruits, velvet-like tannins, with a fleshy, fullness to the palate. This is a deeply elegant wine but not one without power. The weight of this wine is dictated by a dense core of blackberry, cherry and blueberry whilst the natural acid and silky tannins build a gorgeous texture and build to phenomenally long finish. This is a pristine wine, aged completely in concrete with zero reduction, it's all about the purity of the fruit that comes off the world-famous vineyards of Morgon.
