One of Victoria's true heritage wines, Yarra Yering Dry Red No.1 is primarily a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot, Malbec and a touch of Petit Verdot. There is an underlying savoury character, suggesting grilled meats and mushrooms with a hint of black olive tapenade. It is seductively light on entry but rapidly expands on the palate to become rich and mouth filling, while retaining elegance and poise. Silky tannins help draw out its lingering aftertaste.

A Rosé with the structure of a prestige Cuvée, Charles Heidsidck Rosé Reserve has a subtle, yet complex aromas of strawberry jam mixed with ripe peaches on the nose. It is delicate at first on the palate but the raspberry and blackberry slowly became apparent. They are well-balanced with the right amount of acidity. The wine is well structured and made to match with food.
