Eden Rift Reserve Pinot Noir The Reserve Pinot Noir represents the winemaker’s hand-picked selection of Eden Rift estate’s ten standout barrels. The palate expresses dark fruits, earthy notes, cherry liqueur, chocolate and mineral notes. Layered flavours of bright blackberries, orange, and subtle tannin are framed with delicate underbrush notes and toasted wood.

A magnificent blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz from the very best regions and vineyards available to Peter Gago and his team, the robust nature of the Cabernet grape give structure and body to the wine while the opulent Shiraz fruit provides suppleness and intensity. La Fussière is the largest climat of Maranges (at the very south of the Côte de Beaune, next to Santenay), covering an area of almost 35 hectares. It faces south, directly towards the start of the Côte Chalonnaise, on a slope between 290 and 400 metres. Alongside a cracking red from these marly, crinoidal limestone soils, Bachelet-Monnot has long crafted an exceptionally pure and taut white Burgundy from a small parcel of 40-year-old vines occupying the vineyard's highest reaches. This site lost almost 70% of its crop due to the frost this year. Raised with 20% new oak, it’s a beautifully pitched, chalky white with crisp apple and white peach fruit, finishing with a tangy, citric snap.

Penfolds Bin 407 began life back in 1993 with the release of the 1990 vintage Cabernet Sauvignon. Created as a result of the availability of high quality Cabernet fruit, Bin 407 is inspired by its older brother, Bin 707. Not only offering varietal definition, but also approachability, structure and depth of flavour. The Bin 407 highlights the Penfolds approach to multi-region, multi-vineyard blending to create a Cabernet that rewards the drinker in both early and later years.
