Born in Mexico, shaped by Scotland, Storywood is the only range of tequilas in the world that are fully matured in single malt whisky and Oloroso sherry barrels. Storywood tequila begins with 10 year-old mature 100% blue weber agave, harvested from the lowland region of Jalisco and married with the natural spring water from Volcan de Tequila that flows down from the mountains. This liquid, much like a new make spirit, is then locked away in the finest of oak casks which have travelled 3 continents. Bottled at cask strength, this rich Reposado packs a punch! Born in Mexico and raised over 7 months in Scotch Speyside whisky barrels. Caramel with hints of oak, vanilla and honey on an earthy agave base. The Speyside Reposado 7 was born in Mexico and raised for over 7 months in Scottish Speyside whisky barrels, it’s a tantalizingly two-sided tequila. Hussong’s Silver Tequila is made from 100% blue weber agave, harvested at a minimum age of 5 years, from both the lowlands and highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. A unique cooking method combining the old traditional way of cooking agaves in brick ovens and stainless steel autoclaves for 32-36 hours. The silver or blanco is tequila in its purest form. Unaged and crystal clear, this tequila is crisp, smooth and full of 100% Agave flavour. The aromas are bright, fresh cut grass, citrus and vanilla with similar flavours coming through on the palate along with some butterscotch and pineapple.

Hussong’s Reposado Tequila is made from 100% blue weber agave, harvested at a minimum age of 5 years, from both the lowlands and highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. A unique cooking method combining the old traditional way of cooking agaves in brick ovens and stainless steel autoclaves for 32-36 hours. The Tequila is then aged for five months in used bourbon barrels to give it a complex flavour and delicate aroma. Aromas of vanilla custard, citrus and almonds lead to a hint of liquorice, fruity agave and toasted banana bread, the perfect mix of citrus and toasted oak.

Hussong’s Anejo Tequila is made from 100% blue weber agave, harvested at a minimum age of 5 years, from both the lowlands and highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. A unique cooking method combining the old traditional way of cooking agaves in brick ovens and stainless steel autoclaves for 32-36 hours. The Tequila is then aged for at least 15 months in used bourbon barrels to give it a smooth and balanced taste. Refined and complex aromas of caramel, vanilla, apple and cinnamon are reminiscent of apple pie, the palate continues with added notes of chocolate, orange and honey with a hint of aromatic spice and a toasted oak finish.

Perfect for your mixed cocktails, sipping, or an ingredient in a dessert. A rich, dark brown colour. Aromas of fresh coffee, vanilla, and chocolate. Coffee across the palate with light tequila and chocolate.

A highland tequila, Don Fulano is made from 100% estate grown mature blue agave cooked in autoclave ovens, naturally fermented in open tanks using wild and cultivated yeast, and distilled in approximately 80% copper pot still and 20% copper, double column still. The spirit is distilled to 50% to 55% then cut with demineralised water from a deep well in the distillery. The tequila is non-charcoal filtered and contains no additives. The Reposado is carefully rested in a combination of new and used French limousine oak barrels for a minimum of eight months and up to two years. This ensures that the resulting spirit is the perfect balance between agave notes and those from the barrel. A nose of red fruits, think cherries and jam with the sweetness of cooked agave further enhancing this, with delicate herbal notes providing a balancing counterpoint. The French oak influence becomes obvious on the palate, with rich caramel, maple syrup and creamy vanilla flavours. With those is fruity dark chocolate, some of the jam from the nose, although deep in the mix and gentle spiciness. The cask influence is felt yet again in the finish, where agave pepperiness quickly fades to vanilla.
