Mt Langi Ghiran Billi Shiraz

Lifted aromatics of ripened red fruit impress immediately. There's a savoury edge, too, and some vanilla/cedar. The colour is holding well - ruby and mid-weight. Bright, and slightly piquant cherry and cranberry notes combine with juicy red currant, a hint of pepper-spice and fine earth tannins, resulting in yet another good Billi Billi. Now is the right time to drink it. There's sufficient acid and flavour to see it through for another couple of years if you aren't in a hurry.

Mountainside Wines Grampians Shiraz

The 2016 Shiraz is the Grampians shiraz in a glass. It is a rounded, well balanced wine with aromas of berry, pepper and a slight hint of wood. This is followed by flavours of blueberry, spice and black pepper with hints of nutmeg. The integration of the oak gives the wine soft tannins and a long clean finish.

Seppelt Original Sparkling Shiraz

Sparkling shiraz is as Australian as anything, and one of the best value is from Seppelt, with the current vintage drinking superbly. Surprisingly soft and plump with ripe and giving tannins; while it's dry, there's some sweet fruit sensation on the palate that helps with dishes that have heat spikes and spice, especially Indian. Lots of plum fruit, spice and earthy notes, too, with fine acid and the fizz hit offers a refreshing lift.

Jimmy Wines Pinot Noir

Displays lovely aromas of red cherry and strawberry fruits on the nose with a hint of light smokiness. A fresh array of cherries, plums and rounded sweetness on the palate, we think this easy drinking wine is a perfect example of what makes pinot noir so attractive. Ideal with a Moroccan spiced warm lamb salad.

Jimmy Wines Cabernet Sauvignon

A vibrant, crimson red wine with aromas of red and black currants, mint and a touch of tobacco on the nose. The palate develops around the ripe red currant flavours and is complemented by sweet vanilla and cedar oak spices. Enjoy with a classic BBQ seared steak and roast potatoes.
