Milton Rum Distillery Spiced Cane Spirit

Using an innovative vapour infusion process, the finest Australian botanicals, and spices sourced from the tropical rainforests around the world, we have created a spirit that offers a truly unique experience. A beautiful nose combining Lemon myrtle, candied orange zest and a floral note creates harmony with the earthy tones of cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. The palate lends itself to candied orange zest and continues, along with fresh citrus, soft spices and a warming, full-bodied sweetness. The Milton Rum Distillery has re-awakened 150 year old rum making techniques, to create premium quality, new make cane spirits.

Mars Wa Bi Damask Rose Gin

Floral and aromatic on the nose, fresh and soft texture with delicate sweetness, and an elegant crisp finish. The key botanicals apart from juniper berries for this gin (green tea, shiso and ginger) are grown locally in Kagoshima Prefecture in South Japan on the island of Kyushu. The original gin is blended with beautiful rose water which is made with organic and local Damask rose flower, which is considered the queen of roses.

Hartshorn Distillery Hartshorn Gin Sheep Whey

Besides the Juniper, my aim with this Gin was to only use Tasmanian native botanicals. I discovered some very impressive native berries, leaves and seeds however they could only be wild harvested which meant I could not get enough quantity to make it practical enough for an ongoing production. I have still been able to use some Tasmanian native botanicals however I have now broadened the list to only Australian native botanicals (plus the Juniper). The use of 6 Native Australian botanicals with 3 of them never used before in any other Gin is found in this Gin.All of the botanicals are vapor infused which is a technique not used too often with Australian Gins. Vapor infusion (as opposed to steeped) will give the Gin a much more delicate and subtle bouquet. The Gin was designed to have a Beautiful smell. There will be delicate petal and citrus aromas with a hint of freshly cut hay.
