Amrut Single Oloroso #3897

Amrut Kadhambam

Bakery Hill Classic Malt Whisky

Classic Single Malt is the whisky that David Baker started distilling over 20 years ago to produce. Victoria’s very own “Speyside” style expression with notes of spiced apple, nutmeg, honey and loads of rich malty sweetness. Tasting Notes: Nose: A complex sweet multi layering of green apples, spiced honey with just a hint of cider. Palate: The flavour ramps up kaleidoscopically from nutmeg through spiced honey to a firm cereal with a malty richness layered on as a finale. Finish: Mouth filling, smooth and lingering, leaving a satisfying warmth. Inspection of the glass reveal amazingly luscious legs of this superb malt whisky.

Bakery Hill Classic Malt Strength

Our Classic Single Malt, drawn straight from the cask, is the ultimate tasting experience of pure double distilled unpeated spirit. All of the nose and flavour profiles of the Classic Single Malt but ramped up to 11, without dilution, so you can enjoy the whisky as you see fit. Perhaps with a couple of drops of water before indulging. Tasting Notes: Nose: An intensely sweet satin smooth malt with overtones of vanilla, almond meal and jaffa. Palate: The palate is reminiscent of spiced orange Turkish Delight, with a fresh mouth cleansing zestiness all intermingled with malty cereal and cocoa. Rich and sweet without being cloying. A brilliant balance of sensations. Finish: The finish is deep and enveloping with lingering malt richness. Awards: GOLD 2021 Australian Distilled Spirits Awards

Bakery Hill Peated Malt Strength

An incorrect image is shown (not cask strength). Our Peated Single Malt, delivered straight from the cask is our “biggest” and most awarded whisky in our range. In fact it is one of the biggest Australian whiskies available today. The malted barley is “peated” in northern Scotland and exhibits a more “Highland” style peat, which produces an “earthier” rounded peat smoke with minimal “medicinal/iodine” notes. If you are looking for the ultimate flavour experience that you will continue tasting long after the glass is dry, this whisky is for you Tasting Notes: Nose: A rich subdued peat aroma combined with a natural leathery earthiness with overtones of kumquat and fruit mince tart. Sweet but not sickly. Palate: The palate reveals a tobacco leaf earthiness with layer upon layer of complex smoky peat that lingers on the lips and palette demanding just one more sip. Finish: Astonishingly long and complex, an exotic mix of experiences.

Blanton's Single Barrel Gold Edition Kentucky Straight Bourbon

Blanton's trademark bottle shape and iconic horse and jockey are a symbol of years of exceptional quality. Their Gold Edition was created for the discerning connoisseur who appreciates exceptional smoothness and clean finish in their bourbon whiskey. The rich taste of dark chocolate fudge, citrus rind, oak and subtle cream notes are combined with the spiciness of pepper and rye leading to an incredibly long finish that challenges the worlds finest single malts and rarest cognacs in complexity and character. Best served neat or with a splash of water.

Kings County Peated Bourbon

Peated Bourbon? Yes, sirree. To be clear, this is not a classic Bourbon finished in a peated cask. Its a Whiskey that conforms to the requirements for Bourbon, yet is made with a percentage of peated malt. The peated malt represents 30% of the mash bill alongside 70% New York State organic corn.
