Mclaren Vale is known to produce shiraz grapes that are extremely small, giving them a high skin to pulp ratio. This goes on to provide an rich and complex wine with signature softness and a supple tannin finish, proving that you can infact be small, yet mighty.

Serafino Sorrento Rose is sourced from our Grenache and Montepulciano vineyards in McLaren Vale. The label is a collaboration with local artist Sarah McDonald and Serafino Wines. This wine is a fruit driven style with strawberry and cream flavours that will leave you feeling refreshed. Enjoy!

Lifted bouquet of red fruit, blueberries and mulberries, this Montepulciano displays bright energetic red fruit with soft elegant spices and long persistant tannins.

Chapel Hill's Michael Fragos loves using The Parson Shiraz to showcase McLarenVale's diversity and varietal character. The Shallow soils over livestone in maritime influenced vineyards between McLaren Vale and Masline Beach and also around Bowering Hill, provide explosive blueberries and liquorice with finesse and a wonderfully framing tannin structure. Up in the foothills of the Mount Lofty ranges, a Kangarilla vineyard offers Indian spice complexities that many higher priced wines would simply love to have. The added length and savoury tannins of this component and the use of some French oak result in a beguiling final release that is extraordinary.

Spicy cherry aromas and butter chocolate, this Sangiovesse displays savoury spice and dark cherry which flows on the palate, complemented with medium tannin finish.

Grenache has always been a cornerstone of d'Arenberg's red wines and this is one of the benchmarks of the variety. Produced from old low yielding vines it is a wine of great character and intensity. Showing none of the sickly confectionery characters that can plague this variety, it's all about elegant, savoury spice.

The McLaren Vale region in South Australia has a moderate coastal climate, perfectly suited to growing high quality Shiraz grapes. Its unique soil produces concentrated fruit that impart pronounced berry and spice characteristics and soft palate. This wine is complex, fruit driven and smooth with hints of strawberries and raspberries with notes of spices. The Wolf Blass Grey Label Shiraz is an opulent concentrated and complex style with plenty of spicy fruit and a dash of chocolate.
