Lifted bouquet of red fruit, blueberries and mulberries, this Montepulciano displays bright energetic red fruit with soft elegant spices and long persistant tannins.

Spicy cherry aromas and butter chocolate, this Sangiovesse displays savoury spice and dark cherry which flows on the palate, complemented with medium tannin finish.

The Nosey Parker simply delivers in spades. Swathes of sweetly spiced blackberry woven with pencil shaving oak, backed up by a rich, powerfully long palate. Michael Fragos grew up in McLaren Vale, and spent 14 years at Tatachilla before taking over at Chapel Hill in 2004. A three-time ‘Bushing King’, Michael has also been named best winemaker on the planet! James Halliday notes that his “wine quality is unfailingly excellent” . This one has an expressive nose of blackcurrant, bay leaf cigar box and chocolate. The palate is medium to full-bodied, beautifully structured, with a powerful complexity, fine-grained tannins, velvety texture and long, long finish.

Chapel Hill's Michael Fragos loves using the Parsons label to showcase McLaren Vale's diversity and varietal character. To achieve the desired style and to harness the regal varietal flavours of Cabernet Sauvignon, the grapes are strategically harvested to avoid any green tannins or overripe jammy fruit flavours. Full-bodied in style, the palate is both eloquently pure and broodingly complex, supported by fine, savoury tannins. A great companion for a medium rare steak with a solid helping of steamed greens.

The Bec Hardy brand is deeply connected to the Tipsy Hill Estate gardens, which contain a wide collection of flora and fauna, many of which inspired the design of the Garden Series labels. The design includes grevillea, silver princess, tipsy imperial concubine rose, eastern spinebill and the distinctive red browed finch.
