St Hugo DR3 x St. Hugo Shiraz

My 3rd collaboration with St Hugo continues DR3's regal lineage. Presenting DR3 the 3rd. This Shiraz is impecable and unapologetic. Dark and brooding with masses of berry, pommegranate and raspberry fruit. It will draw you in with it's mysterious charm and ethe engulf your tastebuds with an elegant, expressive embrace. Love it and it will love you back.

The Regionality & Styles of South Australia Shiraz

We believe that Australia’s vinous ‘workhorse’, We have spent more than a decade showcasing the regional expressions, dare we say ‘sense of place’ of Shiraz for all to taste and experience. We believe Shiraz shines brightest in the glass when nurtured from the vineyard to bottle and handled with a tempered and delicate hand in the winemaking process (just a waft of oak). From quintessentially Australian sparkling Shiraz (nee Chocolate Mousseux) to Joven (unoaked) Nature’s Crux and our four regional expressions of Langhorne Creek (Lake Doctor), Chocolate Factory (McLaren Vale), Hills are Alive (Adelaide Hills) and Baron Von Nemesis (Barossa) Shiraz. Take a journey of South Australian shiraz and experience the personality each wine we procured. Regionality & Styles of South Australian Shiraz including: 2021 Natures Crux, Fleurieu (organic) 2018 Hills are Alive, Adelaide Hills 2021 Lake Doctor, Langhorne Creek 2021 Chocolate Factory, McLaren Vale 2020 Age of Enlightenment, McLaren Vale Chocolate Mousseux NV Cuvee Shiraz , South Australia.

Paxton EJ Shiraz

The EJ Shiraz is the jewel in Paxton's organic and biodynamic crown. Awarded 95 points in the Halliday Wine Companion 2017, this wine is the result of low yielding vines that are more than a century old. The flavour is elegant and round and the nose offers vanilla, black current and oak.

Farnese Edizione

Farnese Edizione gives a very deep garnet red colour. The nose is intense and persistent with notes of cherry and blackcurrant, herbs, cinnamon, cloves, cocoa, liquorice and hints of mineral. The palate has great structure, good balance between alcohol and freshness, velvety tannins, very persistent with a long finish, ready to drink, or can be put in the cellar for a few years.

Te Mata Bullnose Syrah

The Bullnose Syrah from Te Mata is one of New Zealand's original Syrah wines, having been made since 1992. Vineyard partners, Michael Morris and Peter Cowley - both car enthusiasts - named the wine after the pre-1928 Morris Cowley car, nicknamed Bullnose due to its distinctive radiator. The Bullnose is a single vineyard wine from Hawke's Bay that shows characters that are aromatic, savoury, and elegant. It's an expression of syrah which, when well stored, develops and intensifies in bottle with medium term cellaring.

Teusner Righteous Mataro

Barossa Valley identity, Kym Teusner, harnesses the fruit weight and concentration of old vine Mataro with expert hands here with the Righteous Mataro. The fruit was sourced from the 'fruit salad' vineyard planted in the 1930s and consists mostly of Grenache, but if you look closely, every fourth vine is a quirky Mataro vine! Wonderful layers of spice over dense blue and black fruits pave the way for a finish that is utterly long and sublime.

Illuminati Pieluni Riserva

With a home on the central east coast of Italy, the Abruzzo region is home to the Montepulciano grape (not to be confused with the region of Montepulciano in Tuscany!). It is here that the variety really thrives and Illuminati's Pieluni Riserva shows wonderful deep, brooding and intense aromas and flavours of ripe plums, tobacco and blackcurrant. Delectable chocolate tannins round out a truly decadent wine.

Chapel Hill The Vicar Shiraz

The pinnacle of Chapel Hill's best parcels of red come together to form The Vicar, a prestige full blooded McLaren Vale Shiraz of great distinction. Painstakingly chosen from selected single-vineyard McLaren Vale sites, The Vicar is overflowing with ripe mulberry and licquorice flavours interlinked with sublime oak influence from over 80% French oak influence.

Bannockburn Serre Pinot Noir
