Our Barolo comes from the best plots of seven cru. The diversity of soils, exposure and altitude characterises each of these small but very important terroir. Unifying these diversities, the Barolo offers harmony and complexity with an overall character of the zone. Paolo Scavino owns 29 hectares entirely in the Barolo area and works on 20 Barolo historical crus located in Castiglione Falletto, Barolo, La Morra, Novello, Serralunga d'Alba, Verduno and Roddi. The Scavino family distinguishes itself from the beginning by their scrupulous care of the vineyards and passion for terroir. Their core beliefs is the supremacy of the viticulture above the oenology therefore the focus is the care of the vines in order to grow ripe and healthy grapes. In winemaking minimal and equal intervention are sought, to preserve natural diversities, terroir.

Conterno Conca Tre Pile Barbera d'Alba

The 2021 Conterno Conca Tre Pile Barbera d'Alba from Piedmont, Italy showcases the expertise of renowned producer Poderi Aldo Conterno. This vintage is a true testament to the rich history and tradition of winemaking in the region. Upon first pour, the wine reveals a deep ruby red hue, hinting at its bold and complex character. The nose is immediately greeted by intense aromas of ripe red fruits, including cherries and plums, alongside subtle hints of spice and earth. Savaterre Shiraz

The Savaterre vineyard is elevated at 430m above sea level and is farmed along organic principles. No pesticides are used. An incredibly complex, lifted, lively and intense nose. Exotic aromas of smoked meats, dried red rose, allspice, clove, dark plum, dark cherry ,blackberry, mulberry, mandarin, violets, sandalwood, bay and funky undergrowth. This aroma really revs me up, it continues to evolve as time goes by. This wine is alive! Complexity, poise, sinewy acid, fine tannins wrapped around a sleek core of pristine dark fruit. A wine thats slightly reduced and smelling of undergrowth now that transforms in the glass and continues to seduce. This is Terroir. This is Savaterre.
