The Ann-Inspired Shiraz is names after my late Nan- Thelma Ann Dewey. The 17th March 2017 marked the day that both my beloved Nan passed and the fruit for my top tier Shiraz arrived at the Winery. As a result, we dedicated the title of this wine to her memory.<br>The thumb print that you see on the front label, is that of my Pop - Raymond Dewey, who spent 76 years with dear Ann, so we felt it only fitting that they share in this label together.

It’s no secret that Shiraz is the core strength of the Barossa. It has; is, and always will be quintessential to our region. This is due to the dedication of generations of Barossans. With this, I pay the highest respect to the great wines of the 80’s and 90’s; the wines that showed the world how great the Barossa is, in the hope the new generation of winemakers and grape growers don’t forget the thing that gave them the opportunity to do what they do and love now.

A deep scarlet red that bursts with aromas of rose petals, plum, chocolate and cassis. With time, layers of vanilla cream, olive and sweet oak spice unfold. The palate is plush and generous, filled with dark cherry, plum and a touch of espresso, gliding into an elegant finish framed by fine tannins. Beautifully balanced and already drinking well, with the structure to evolve gracefully in the cellar.

Sparkling Shiraz forms an integral part of the iconic Barossa tradition in viticulture. A celebration of the regions oldest and best loved grape variety, with bubbles to match. Unashamedly festive, Sparkling Shiraz is the perfect addition to a Christmas lunch or Sunday brunch. Beneath a rich shade of crimson lies at its heart a deep, complex structure. Full of dried cranberry, cacao, blueberry and cherry. This wine is bold yet dazzling with a mosaic of flavours and a finish to match.

Gibson Wines is one of the reasons why we all love the Barossa Valley so much. Small family winery, ancient soils, hand-crafter wines all made by a true Barossa character, Rob Gibson. With his signature moustache and motorcyclists' leather waistcoat, Rob puts all his years of experience into every bottle. The Reserve Shiraz is grown from a single estate vineyard in Stockwell and displays aromas and flavours that are fresh and lively with juicy fruit tones that are hard to find in 2007. Amazing what can be achieved with rigorous fruit selection and detailed winemaking.
