Delamotte was found in 1760 and is one of the five oldest Champagne houses. Based in the Grand Cru Village of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger in the Cote des Blancs, the house is reknowned for the delicacy and elegance of their cuvees. A 100% Chardonnay from six select Grand Cru vineyards in the Cotes des Blancs: Le Mesnil-sur-Oger brings fine acidity, minerality, and saline characters; Avize brings balance and structure; Oger brings generosity and fruit expression; Cramant brings minerality and smoky complexity, Chouilly structure and length, and Oiry the texture, body, and roundness. With six years of ageing on lees, this cuvee is characterised by its pure, direct, and intense flavours of citrus flavours, saline notes, and complex notes of freshly baked brioche. This Champagne will easily enhance a range of dishes, from oysters to beef tartare, and will comfortably age for another decade.

Fifth generation vigneron, Pascal Leclerc began following biodynamic principles in 1988, with part of the production Demeter certified since 2003. Today, enologist Hervé Jestin continues the legacy of this visionary house.

Ten hectares of vineyard spread between the Premier Cru villages of Cumières, Hautvillers, Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, Bisseuil in the Vallée de la Marne, Villers-Allerand and Rilly la Montagne in Montagne de Reims and the Grand Cru villages of Cramant and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger in the Côte des Blancs. Leclerc Briant also holds long-term contracts with another 8 hectares of biodynamically farmed vineyards. Grand Blanc is 100% Chardonnay from the Grand Cru village of Cramant in the Côte des Blancs region of Champagne. Fermentation and aging take place in used 225-liter French oak barriques for ten months followed by five years aging in bottle sur lattes. The wine receives no dosage with less than 1 gram per liter of residual sugar.

Benjamin Benoit is fast becoming one of the Jura’s most exciting voices. Working in Pupillin with traditional methods and minimal sulphur, his site-specific wines offer a precise, elegant expression of Jura terroir. Cellier Saint Benoit sets a new standard for quality in the region. From a limestone-dominant site, Viandris offers a more linear and mineral expression of Chardonnay. Whole cluster pressed and aged in neutral oak, highlighting the vineyard’s precision and tension.

The Chardonnay expresses itself wonderfully, offering fresh and well balanced wines with aromas of white fruits, hawthorn and acacia notes. The beautiful minerality on the palate reveals a racy and elegant wine.
