This complex and elegant wine has lifted aromas of fresh rich red fruits and white mint chocolate. Strawberries, raspberries, dark cherries and blackcurrants are the base of this wine but has depth in texture and flavour are given by rich tannins and subtle spice from ageing in French oak. Well matched to heavier weight dishes - veal and beef based. Also perfect with hard cheeses and aged cheddar.

The palate is vibrant and silky smooth, with ripe blackberry fruit flavours and lively spice. A wine that combines richness and elegance, with subtle oak nuances and fine tannins, giving the wine a firm structure and long lasting finish.

High up in the Adelaide Hills, Paracombe is owned and operated by the Drogemuller family, which it has passionately done since 1983. Jericho Adelaide Hills Tempranillo is an early release, joven (young) style of Tempranillo. A soft extraction process followed by ageing in old french oak for only four months, preserved the soft and aromatic flavours, giving the wine a fresh, juicy and vibrant palate with soft tannins.
