Named after Alfred Pizzini's grandmother, this is a medium bodied Sangiovese - warm and humble just like its namesake. Aromas of lightly spiced plums and cherries lead to hints of chocolate, leather and lovely savoury characters. The palate is generous and full flavoured with good length, soft tannins and flavours of plums and cherries.

The Brown Brothers Refreshing Tempranillo is a medium bodied red wine that we have made specifically for serving at your desired temperature. At room temperature the wine shows a vibrant purple colour with juicy red berry fruit and spices on the nose. It is medium bodied and soft on the palate. When chilled it takes refreshment to new highs by enhancing the fruit driven qualities. Vegan Friendly. The Tempranillo grapes used to make this wine were grown at our own Banksdale and Heathcote vineyard

Today, his legacy sees the Nugan family established as one of Australias most successful agricultural enterprises. This wine is a tribute to his vision and the passion he instilled in us, his family, to pursue his ideals of outstanding quality and service. Both the Sangiovese and Merlot are sourced from our Frascas Lane Vineyard in Victorias cool climate King Valley.

Pinot Noir from this region is amongst the best in the country and Scotchmans does it well. This example is earthy, gamey and packed with lovely pure Pinot flavour - delicious!
