It fairly bounces in the mouth, but there is a serious side, too, with a solid concentration of fruit and structure built around well-crafted tannins. Some vanilla Or coconut oak influences and mellow tertiary notes from aged development. It's rich and rounded, ample and even opulent on the tongue, filling the mouth with flavour which is mellow, tertiary and complex, definitely not just simple fruit.

Mt Beras Amphitheatre vineyard is planted on 2 slopes of a massive natural amphitheatre between our other vineyards. One bird can create music to be heard everywhere. Hopefully the grapes collect the music, and you find yourself singing along with our native bird population. Mulberries, coriander, orange peel and nutmeg on the nose, as well as some licorice. Mt Bera’s Amphitheatre vineyard is planted on 2 slopes of a massive natural amphitheatre between our other vineyards. One bird can create music to be heard everywhere. Hopefully the grapes collect the music, and you find yourself singing along with our native bird population. Rich black fruit is contrasted by peppery flavors and boisterous acidity in this food-friendly Austrian red. Blaufränkisch, also known as Lemberger in Germany, is celebrated for its versatility and its ability to pair with a wide range of dishes. This grape variety is also a parent of Zweigelt.

Mt Lofty Ranges Vine Aspire Gamay

This Gamay is a vibrant, expressive wine that strikes an exceptional balance between savoury nuance and bright fruit character. From the first sip, it takes you on a journey, opening with tart red fruits, sour cherry and rhubarb, then transitioning thorugh a mid palate of fresh acidity, subtle herbaceous notes, and a savoury thread, indicative fo a cool vintage. The finish reveals a smoky, toasting depth with whispers of cured meats and charcuterie, adding intrigue and complexity. Whole bunch fermentation brings lifted spice and fine tanning, while 30% new French oak frames the palate wih subtle toast and structure. Earthy notes of truffle and mushroom unfold gracefully over vibrant acidity, delivering both prettiness and power in equal measure. From its fruit sauced core to its lingering savoury finish, this wine speaks of altitude, craftsmanship, and the soul of the Adelaide Hills.

Nova Vita Wines Firebird Shiraz

This is a classic cool-climate medium bodied Australian Shiraz made from our best close planted Shiraz block with approx 4,444 vines per hectare compared to the usual Australian 1,850 vine per hectare all with of focus on high quality low yielding vines allowing the fruit characters to come to the fore. Hand-picked, small batch fermentation and maturation in French oak barrels for approx. 20 months has produced a wine with spice and ripe fruit, white pepper, cloves, cedar, orange peel, blackberry and a combination of strongly savoury and sweeter berried flavours developing into an extremelly interesting wine.

Mt Lofty Ranges Vineyard Aspire Shiraz

A refined expression of cool climate Shiraz, sourced from a slightly warmer pocket of the Adelaide Hills to deliver both vibrancy and depth. Bursting with dark red and black fruits. Think juicy plum, blackberry and ripe cherry. The palate is plush and fruit forward before giving way to a beautifully spiced mid palate reminiscent of Christmas cake and clove with a hint of black pepper. Around 30% new French oak brings subtle toast and warmth to the finish, adding layers of complexity without overpowering the wine's silky structure. Elegant, balanced and undeniably moreish. This is a polished Adelaide Hills Shiraz with both poise and personality.
