Clotilde Davenne Chablis Vieilles Vignes
CLOTILDE DAVENNE Chablis Vieilles Vignes Chablis is a superb winegrowing region entirely dedicated to Chardonnay. Clotilde Davenne Chablis comes from the village of Courgis, right next door to her winery in Prehy. Pale in colour with hints of green, the Chablis Vieilles Vignes offers a nice freshness and aromatic nose of fresh fruits, white flowers and dried fruit. The mineral aromas, of flint in particular, make it sing.
Alain Geoffroy Petit Chablis
With its golden yellow, pale green color, it has a bright, luminous, and clear appearance. The youthful and fresh aroma is full of fine, fruity, and floral scents that will transport you. The taste is lively, pleasant, and fruity with a delicate, minerally undertone of lemon and citronella. The finish is delightfully refreshing and leaves a lovely, perfumed aftertaste.
Bernard Defaix Chablis
This wine is pale straw in colour and shows subtle grapefruit, mineral and flint characters on the nose. The palate has flavours of citrus and melon with savoury notes and a long dry finish.
Domaine Laroche Blanchots Grands Cru
Domaine William Fevre Les Clos Grand Cru
Remarkably complex bouquet, blending fruity, floral and spicy notes with a substantial mineral touch. Structured palate, opening up with age to give powerful, generous wines. One of the greatest domaines in Chablis. Founded by William Fevre in 1957, its vineyard holdings include 12 hectares of premier cru and 16 hectares of grand Cru vines. The domaines fruit is harvested by hand, a rarity in Chablis, and rigorously sorted at the winery to ensure the highest quality. In recent times the amount of new oak used has been cut back and today the average age of the barrels in the cellar is five years. From the Petit Chablis to the domaines six Grand Cru wines, the quality is superb and the range from Domaine William Fevre is a benchmark for the wines of the region.
