Mr Mick Fiano
Brilliant very pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Elevated pear and red apple aromas intermix with hints of honeysuckle and lime. Delicious juicy pear and red apple fruits drive the mouth watering palate with some delicate infusions of fresh herbs lying underneath. Excellent intensity and beautifully rounded texturally it finishes with a lick of crisp acidity and a long supple fruit driven aftertaste. Drink over the next year. Alc. 11.5%
De Bortoli Rutherglen Estate Fiano
While the Rutherglen region is most famous for bold reds and fortified wines, they are quickly making a name for their alternative white varieties such as this tasty Fiano. Vibrant pale yellow in appearance. Sea spray, guava and lemon aromas. Ripe and juicy entry with wet rock and almond notes under pear and melon core flavours, well-balanced acidity, and a long, savoury finish.
Casa Di Baal Marialonga IGT
Intense yellow, not completely limpid. To the nose the wine offers notes of citrus, yellow ripe fruits and Mediterranean herbs. In the mouth is fresh, fruity and pleasantly easy to drink.
Casa Di Baal La Mossa Fiano IGT Pet Nat
The base wine is made with grapes fermented on the skins for three days. To ferment in the bottle we only use fresh must obtained by gently pressing Moscato grapes which were previously dried on trellises. It is a semi-sparkling wine, re-fermented in the bottle with indigenous yeasts; La Mossa di Baal is un-disgorged and unfiltered, with no added sugar and no added sulphites, is presented on the lees, cloudy and not perfectly limpid.
